Crib App Study Case
"Let Crib guide you Home"
Crib is an app designed for Rental houses searching. It encourages responsible, engaging and approachable services to encourage users to give both feedback on their experience and accurate local information. Crib promotes successful tenant and landlord rental relationships by increasing the level of trust between them, through safe and secure communication.
Role
As a designer, I learned that UX/UI starts with the strategy of the business. When establishing a business strategy, you had to find something that could be a business. Based on the experience of being shocked by the scam when looking for a house, we set up a business model, devised a business strategy, and collected information through research, surveys, and interviews.

We found a differentiated service through the existing home research website and app and adopted a realistic and practical UX solution by creating a persona.

The UI decided on the mood it wanted to give and found colours. Using logos and illustrations, we created images to help explain new features and build the brand's image.

Conclusion
After designing Crib, I am convinced that this app has great future potential for new features: 360-degree camera picture, deposit payment before moving in the house through the app.

I strongly believe that Crib is a powerful tool with huge potential for helping realty companies and individual house owners to find their ideal tenants. Likewise, with the help of the Crib, tenants should also be confident in finding truthful information on the house, the landlord's ownership, and the neighbourhood area. Ultimately, Crib will improve the level of trust for stakeholders and help reduce rental scam activities.
Thanks to this project I was able to develop an app from a human-centred approach and test with real users how they react to this emerging technology. The result confirms that there is a great opportunity for decentralized applications if creators focus on making intuitive, appealing and easy to use products for people.
